5-foot-9, 140-pound right-handed pitcher and infielder who showed very well at the event. Defensively, showed a solid arm, athletic feet and playable glove in the infield. Threw 76 mph across the diamond with accuracy. Probably more suited for second base at the next level. Ran a 4.47 down the line on his dig to first base at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. Hits out of wide base, minimal hand load and steps into the swing. The swing is long to contact and he uses a 1-handed approach to get through the swing. The hands are clean and, at times, quick. On the mound, the fastball touched 80 mph with minimal run to it. The spin pitch was 65-67 mph, needs more fastball hand speed to it. The changeup is a work in progress. Pitches out of a plus ¾ arm slot, the direction to the plate is optimal. Use and athletic lift and coil at the to as he goes into foot strike. There is effort in the delivery and he has recoil after releasing the ball, not allowing his arm to decelarate.
