6-foot-1, 155 pounds, wiry, long, and athletic. Broad shoulders capable of holding strength. A good runner at the high school level, clocked at a 4.31 home-to-first time. Offensively, Masci stands tall in the box, with his feet set about shoulder width apart. A pull heavy approach during batting practice. Collected two singles during game play. The hands start at shoulder level before dropping to the letters. A line drive hitter, there may be more power on the way once he fills out. Defensively, Masci looks the part of a shortstop, with clean actions in the field and soft hands. Clocked throws across the diamond up to 84 mph with a quick release from a ¾ slot. Rhythm and fluidity turning double plays. Comfortable all over the position, with a plus backhand and forehand. Also a right-handed pitcher, Masci has a slight coil in his delivery to go with a loose arm that works out of a ¾ slot. Hands start low by the belt, with a moderate leg kick before finishing his pitches. He throws his fastball 84-85 mph with good movement on the pitch. The curveball has a 12/6 shape, coming in between 71-73 mph. Will need to improve control of the pitch but shows a feel for spinning it. He also works in a slider at 73-76 mph. Solid tilt on the pitch. A 2018 prospect with potential as a position player or a pitcher, Masci is someone to follow this fall and spring.

6-foot-1, 155-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. Defensively. Threw 81 mph across the diamond with accuracy. The arm has plenty in it, more to come. The glove is solid and the approach to the ball needs to be smoothed out with prep steps. Could play all 3 positions in the infield as he is athletic enough. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. The set up is wide and open with the front foot. The front foot closes, with the body leaning to the ball as it approaches. The swing path is long to the ball, needs to be shortened down at initiation. The back elbow is high to start. Ran a 4.61 down the line on his dig to first base. On the mound, I think he has a future. The fastball touched 85 mph with arm side run and sink to it. The spin pitch is plus and can improve with better command, sat at 71-73 mph. The changeup is a work in progress. The delivery is athletic, lift and coil at the top half. The direction needs to be aligned more as he goes towards the third base side. The head has a slight lean to it, the arm works out of a slightly higher than ¾. 1.13 to the plate in the stretch. The arm has a legit life, and he should warrant serious consideration on the mound.

6-foot-1, 155-pound middle infielder and right-handed pitcher. On the mound, the fastball touched 82 mph. Getting control of the ball and throwing strikes is imperative to his development. The breaking pitch has a legit shape to it, sitting at 71 mph. The delivery has effort to it, and the direction needs to be realigned as he comes off target. The arm works well and its quick. The leg is lift and he leads with the front hip, which is fine, the problem is, he takes his hip and front shoulder to the first base line as opposed to home. Really like how the arm works, a knowledgeable pitch guy could clean him up. Defensively, threw 79 mph across the infield with a clean arm. The glove is average and he moves his feet through the ball well. Ran a 4.46 down the line on his dig to first base. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph as the frame needs strength. The set up is wide, and the hands go out and around to contact. Needs to be more aggressive with the direction of the barrel. I like him on the mound, and if he cleans up his direction, that spin pitch would be filthy.
