Joe Coughlan: SS/RHP, (2026) Sandwich Middle, MA. 6-foot-1, 165-pound projectable athletic build. Athletic and  projectable in the box, Coughlan recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Starts in an open wide stance with a handsy controlled load, then uses a closed small leg kick. Had an uphill loose swing plane, developing bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Athleticand  projectable in the infield, displayed a velocity of 81 mph; showed a natural exchange, developing hands, and developing athletic feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.54. Projectable on the mound, showing developing quick arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose consistent arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Has a consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Splitter (72-73 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 80-81 mph; has control arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 1898; Avg 1825). His curveball (65-66) had sweeping action and glove side around the zone command. (Max spin 2237; Avg 2207). His changeup shows gradual fading action and arm side control.
