Auger is a 5-foot-10, 180 pound right-handed hitting catching prospect. He hits out of a wide, open stance with the hands set high. The load is good and gets him into a strong hitting position. The swing is flat through the hitting zone and shows the ability to spray the ball around the field. He also showed a max exit velocity of 84.7 MPH during the batting practice. He also ran a 7.6 sixty.

Defensively, Auger was 74 MPH on his throws with a pop time range of 2.12-2.23 to second. The initial stance is balanced, with the glove relaxed in the middle of his chest. The feet are good and get his hips in line with second base. The ball exchange is quick and allows him to get his arm back. The arm swing is short and he finishes through the throw well.

5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed hitting catcher and outfielder. Behind the plate, he threw 72 mph with a pop time of 2.07. The feet work clean and the throwing slot is solid. Continuing to work on the foot work during the transfer is relative to the development. The receiving needs to continue to improve as he matures in age. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot slightly open to start. The front foot closes down as the ball approaches. The path is clean to the ball, slightly uphill to contact. The hands work freely and the bat has very good life to the ball.

Catching Velocity- 72 mph

Pop Time- 2.07
