Threw 65 mph from behind the dish during the workout. The feet need to continue to improve during the transfer. The receiving has improved as well, as he continues to soften the glove. Pop time of 2.10. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The set up is even in base, low hand start. The path is slightly up and over through the hitting zone, needs to be flattened out. The bottom half is under control throughout and the hands work freely with the barrel

Pop time of 2.12. The receiving is improving, working on securing the catch is appropriate to his development. The transfer footwork can be shortened to improve the pop time. Ran a 7.55 sixty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 72 mph. The set up is even with his feet, uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is up and over the ball to contact. The hands are loose and he has quick hands, the path just needs to be adjusted. Solid future for the bat with tweaking and physical strength development.

The catching is his primary position, throwing 69 mph from behind the dish. Pop time of 2.2 during the event. The feet need to improve on the transfer and his arm strength needs to grow with a long toss program. The receiving is solid, needs to continue to work on securing the catch and blocking.  The bat has a tee exit 78 mph from the left side. Sets up with his feet wide, the hands work freely and the bottom half is under control. The bat path is long, initiation of the swing needs to be more direct to the ball at the start. Physical strength will aid that. Ran a 4.44 down the line on his dig to first base.
