Coming off the 2019 Futures Games, this 6-foot-8, 225 pound right-hander continued to show the heavy sink on his fastball at 81-8 3mph. The velocity was down a bit to conserve for a showcase at Boston College the next day. He was on the side of his slider at 68-70 mph, but was able to make a correction and get good action on a few. The change-up was 73-75 mph and showed good depth. This is a big, long-armed prospect. I think it’s just a matter of time before the armspeed and the leverage start to increase the velocity. He’s a guy that may not be around long this winter.
