Luke Frauton: OF/LHP, (2023) Medway, MA. 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic frame. Projectable during batting practice, Frauton's best exit velocity was 89 mph. (64.69 mph bat speed average). (19.37 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick stride. Bat speed is above average, displays an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Created loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Athletic from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 79 mph; shows developing athletic feet, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.81. Projectable on the mound, used a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with falling off shoulders during delivery. Lands open with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 74-75 mph; has arm side command and slight running action. His 10/4 curveball (60-61) had sweeping action and around the zone glove side control.

Position: OF/LHP

Body: 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic frame.

Hit: (RHH) Projectable. Began in an athletic wide stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick stride. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill loose swing. Gap to gap approach. 

Power: 89 mph exit velocity, average 81.17 mph. 64.69 mph bat speed average. 19.37 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (OF) Soft hands, developing athletic footwork, clean exchange. Athletic.  Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. 

Arm: 79 mph outfield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 6.81 (60-yard).

Pitching:  Projectable. feel delivery, some effort. high ¾ arm angle, developing arm speed, loose arm action. Athletic balance point, falling off shoulders, lands open, a falling off finish.

FB: T75. 74-75 mph. Arm side accuracy, slight running action. 

CB: 60-61 mph. Around the zone glove side control, sweeping action, 10/4 movement.

5-foot-9, 145-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher. He ran a 6.92 sixty at the event. The approach in the outfield is appropriate as he shows very good athleticism as he works his feet through the fielding of the baseball. He threw 73 mph from right field to the plate at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands work freely, producing an uphill path. He was cutting off the finish after contact with the baseball. On the mound, the fastball sat 72-74 mph with arm side run. The spin pitch was 62-63 mph and big in shape. The changeup was 68-69 mph with arm side fade at times. The delivery is online with his feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The lift is solid in tempo, coil at the top and he spins off the target as he makes his way into foot strike. The arm is clean and free. He is a good looking athlete.

OF Velocity- 73 mph
