Future Games

6-foot-4, 230-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. He had a very good 3 day campaign at the event as he can really swing the bat. He ran a 7.64 sixty on the laser at the event. The feel around the bag is solid and the feet move appropriately. He threw 72 mph across the diamond to third base during the defensive portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 104 mph. As you can imagine, he leans on it. The special thing about him for me, is he likes to use the whole field and has plus opposite field power. He stays in his legs and centers the ball based on where it is pitched. The setup is wide in base and the front foot is open to start. He closes down the front foot as he loads the hands. The path is flat to slightly uphill at contact. He is an offensive difference maker at this point.

6-foot-4, 230-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. Ran a 7.6 sixty at the event. The feet around the bag are solid and he handles himself to be reliable at first. He threw 68 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The frame is big and long, he can still fill out as he matures. The bat has an exit velocity of 105 mph. The setup is wide in base, and he uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is clean and uphill through contact. Legit prospect

6-foot-4, 240-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. The feet around the bag are solid, would like to see him keep working on his range as he is big and could cover a great deal of space around the bag. He threw 71 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 99 mph. The bat has a chance to be special. The setup is even in base, uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half. The path is clean to contact and he powers through the ball.  The hands are excellent and the size provides great leverage.

New England Procase

6-foot-4, 240-pound, monster, athletic frame, strength throughout. A left-handed hitter showing major power to all fields. At the plate, simple setup, loose, relaxed hands at the shoulders, feet are even wider than shoulder width. The lower half in under control, small leg lift, keep weight on the backside. The swing is super fluid, hands working with minimal effort. The approach is from field to field, creating backspin and loft, tee exit velocity of 95 mph. Ran a 7.77 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, clean footwork around the bag, soft hands with flow. The arm was 69 mph across the diamond, double play starts had rhythm to the. Continued overall conditioning is a must, will help with on the defensive side.

6-foot-4, 240-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. Threw 71 across the diamond. The arm works freely and clean. The glove is solid around the bag and he handles his feet very well. The target is huge to throw to and he has good athleticsm. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 96 mph. The setup is even in base, front foot steps into the swing. The bat has a small amount of wrap to it as he begins separation. The path has lift in it and he has huge power potential. The ability to make hard contact consistently is present. Big prospect based of what I have seen.

JUNIOR FUTURES
6-foot-4, 220-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and pitcher. Ran a 8.37 sixty on the laser at the event. The glove is excellent at first and he moves his feet appropriately around the bag. Threw 66 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 91 mph. The setup is even in base, small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is clean and the hands work. On the mound, the fastball sits at 70 mph. The lift is methodical and the arm is clean. The direction of the feet are online and the tracking of the front shoulder needs to improve. Legit prospect with the bat.
