8/5/15 Strong and athletic third baseman who can also play first base and the outfield. Runs well for a bigger guy, 7.12 with a clean gait. Threw 79 from third base and showed a solid glove. Played a solid outfield, just needs repetitions. At first base, he needs to coaching but that position may suit him down the line. At the plate, his path is long and flat. Power potential to all fields sticks out during batting practice. I would like to see him get his feet under control at the plate. Tee exit velocity of 91 and if he gets enough bats, he could scare people in the middle of a lineup.
6/30/15 A big physical right-handed hitter who punished the ball at NEBC. Homered, doubled and singled on the day, barreling up the ball three times in a row. Tee exit velocity of 92 mph out of a even setup that is simple and quick. He is short to the ball and finished flat. Ran a 7.33 and showed a good arm from third at 76 mph. The glove is solid and his footwork can improve at the hot corner. Moves fine in the outfield as well, athleticism is not an issue. On the mound, he is a reliever from a high-¾ slot, touched an 82 and had a decent changeup at 72. The knuckleball was 73 mph as well. Effort in delivery as he pulls the front side off the target. Competes! Like the bat.
