Left-handed pitcher coming off a great sophomore campaign. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a fastball that sits in the low 80's currently. The secondary pitches are formidable and continue to progress. The arm works clean out of an athletic delivery with a short coil at the top of his lift. Good mound presence and the frame will fill out a bit more.
8/13/19: Boasts a simple, delivery the he repeats well while offering different looks out of multiple arm slots ranging from true three-quarters to side-armed. Sitting 86-to-89 mph with the fastball, Dombkowski excels at working the corners while mixing in an above-average upper-80s changeup. He also throws a fringy slider that he commands well but lacks enough bite to consistently play as a weapon, as well as a “show me” slow curve.
