Setup was comprised of a balanced open stance and a long stride. Bat speed was quick, had a simple flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Gap to gap approach. While catching, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 70 mph; shows sure hands, athletic smooth feet, and a clean transfer. showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.93-2.04. (18.7 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then used a small closed stride. Has developing bat speed, long loose swing plane and high finish. Found some barrels with loud contacts. Line drive approach. Behind the plate, he made throws to second at velocities up to 71 mph; had a clean developing transfer, developing consistent footwork, and soft developing hands. He had a pop time of 2.06-2.10. Clean calm setup. Had consistent accuracy to the bag and a high ¾ slot.
5-foot-6, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher and corner infielder. Behind the dish he threw 61 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.3. The feet need to continue to improve during the transfer as well as the arm strength. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 64 mph, as additional physical strength gains are warranted. The setup is even in base,front foot open to start. The front foot steps into the swing. The path is long to contact, needs better direction at the initiation of the swing
