Above average and confident at the plate, the left-handed hitter's 94 mph exit velocity ranks him 2nd at the event. (69.8 mph bat speed average). (23.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a small load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was explosive above average, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He created loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 85 mph; had soft sure hands, athletic consistent footwork, and a clean natural exchange.
