6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher. The arm is good, threw 78 mph from behind the dish at the event. The pop time was 2.03. The feet need to be cleaned up for throwing purposes and the receiving is a work in progress, he certainly has the tools to catch and throw. Ran a 4.48 down the line on his dig as he moves well and shows good athletics. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph, as the hands are loose and free. Starts with his feet even and the steps into the ball. The hands are quick to the ball, shortening down the bat path would help him immensely as well. The front hip and shoulder spin off too soon, keep them on track would help his ability to drive the ball the other way. Raw but the tools are there to play.
Tee Exit Velocity- 86 mph
Catching Velocity- 78 mph

Long and lean right-handed hitting catcher out of Arlington Catholic. Showed raw tools at the event, should be an interesting guy to follow as he progresses. Ran a 7.32 in the 60. Displayed a pop time of 1.99 and a arm velocity of 77 mph. The transfer and footwork can be cleaned up as he matures but he has the tools to stay back there. The receiving is solid at this point of his life, more time securing the catch will help soften the glove hand. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 82 mph. Starts with his feet wide and his turns turned out. The bat has life to it, as the swing is flat with a low finish through the ball. Getting his bottom half under control and staying in his legs during the swing will help him develop.
