8/12/20

5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and pitcher. He ran a 7.25 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is athletic and he stays active with the feet. The prep steps can be smoothed out as he threw 79 mph across the diamond during the infield portion of the workout. The bat has an exit velocity of 84 mph. The setup is even in base and he uses a pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is uphill to contact. The frame should add strength and weight as he progresses. On the mound, the fastball sat 80- 81 mph with arm side run. The spin pitch is 69-70 mph and solid in shape. The changeup is a developing pitch for him. The delivery is online and the slot is 3/4. The tempo is solid and he repeats the process. The arm is whippy and he threw strikes. His best days are in front of him on the mound.
