6/05/18

6-foot-1, 185-pound right-hander who threw the ball as well as I have ever seen him.  The delivery has cleaned up as the bottom half has much less sink to it. The tempo of the delivery is much more under control as well. The tracking of the shoulder is done appropriately and his direction to home plate is good. The glove still has a good amount of pull to it , but he seems to attempt to keep the glove inside his frame at release. The fastball bumped 83 mph, downhill at times. The spin pitch is a good one, sitting at 71 mph, with serious depth. The changeup has improved, fade and sink, sitting at 75-76 mph. Trending the right way, good follow.

3/12/17

6-foot-1, 190-pound, strong physical athletic frame. A smooth fielding corner infielder. The actions are above average, the hands are super soft, feet move throughout, transfer is clean and he gets the ball into throwing hand quickly. The arm action is super clean, has hand speed to it, clocked at 79 mph, with easy carry and no effort at all. The feet move very well to glove side, double play starts were on time, pro move move was performed accurately. Offensively, hits from the right side, tee exit velocity was 85 mph, showed to have gap power, approach is middle of the field. The swing path is flat through the zone, hands are loose barrel has life out front. The rounds of batting practice were solid, showed knowledge of the strike zone. The arm is so clean and effortless, a move to the mound could happen down the road, big time follow.

Forty-Yard Dash: 5.37
Exit Velocity: 85 mph
ArmVelocity:79mph

3/08/17

6-foot-1,185-pound right-handed pitcher out of the Northeast Baseball program. Pitches out of a higher than ¾ slot. The delivery is on-line with his feet and the tracking of his front shoulder can be improved. Staying taller on the backside and having front leg resistance at foot strike is imperative. The delivery is athletic and he shows a good feel for pitching. The fastball touched 82 mph and true. The breaking pitch is excellent in shape and trending to be a legit out pitch, sits at 74 mph. The changeup is throws correctly at 76 mph with fade. Continues to improve on the mound. Good follow on the mound, advanced for his age.

9/25/16

Worked out at first base as he recovers from arm discomfort. The glove is solid at first base and he shows athleticism at the bag. The swing has good life to it, tee exit velocity of 84 mph. The tee exit velocity should jump with physical strength gain. Sets up out of a wide base and relaxed hand start. The path is flat with good leverage and life to it. Needs to stay on the ball more as the front side comes off the ball, has power potential to right field. Good looking prospect all the way around, needs to continue to improve. Ran a 4.81 down the line on his dig to first base.

8/04/16

Offensively, showed a clean path with a flat path through the ball. With strength, I like the bat. Sets up with his feet slightly more than shoulder width apart. There is some forward lean to the ball as the ball approaches, which he will have to get in his legs more as he ages or secondary stuff will give him a hard time. Showed a tee exit velocity of 86 mph and put together some good at bats during the game. Needs to get in his skill set during these events as he tends to try and do a little too much. Ran a 7.54 as that will have to improve if he wants to play a position. The glove is average and he showed an above average arm across the diamond. Threw 78 mph during the infield workout. On the mound, showed very well. Fastball sat 81-83 mph with good arm-side run. Threw strikes and competed in his inning of work. The breaking ball shows the right shape to it, sitting at 70 mph. Showed the signs of a good changeup is warm ups. Very interesting follow as a hitter and as a pitcher, time will tell.

3/12/16

Right-handed pitcher with a good future on the bump. Has good athleticism and repeats his delivery. Needs physical strength to aid his frame and bat. The slot is ¾ and its loose, working well on the backside. The delivery has coil to it and he stays with his arm very well. The ball comes out of his hand well. Does need to tweak his front leg, as its flexed all the way through the landing phase, he needs a strong front leg at release. The fastball has life to it and touched, 78 mph. The changeup has good action to it, sitting at 70 mph. The breaking ball is slurvy with the right shape to it, sitting at 66 mph. More fastball with less break should pitch this pitch in the low-70s by summer time. Good looking prospect all the way around.

12/13/15

Right-handed hitter who only worked out as an infielder at the event. The 6-foot, 170-pound athlete shows a very good feel for the game and is very advanced with his skill set. Ran a 7.6 60-yard dash. The glove is solid in the field and he shows a very nice approach to the ball. The arm is long on the back side and the throws show strength with carry, 73 mph. The bat is special, tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The set up is even on the bottom half and he stays in position through the swing. The path is simple and direct. The bat has serious buggy whip to it, as his hands are extremely quick and loose. Keep an eye on this guy.

2017 FUTURE GAMES
6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher. The arm is clean and free, pitches out of a higher than 3/4 slot . The lift is athletic and the tempo of it is quick. There is effort in the delivery and slight head movement as he releases the ball. Struggled in the outing because he gets outside of his delivery and tries to do too much. The glove comes across the hitter and he corrals it mid body. The feet have minimal crossfire to them. The fastball sat 80-82 and true to spin. the breaking pitch has depth and shape to it, sat 67-69. Breaking ball was 74 mph in the winter, which doesnt make much sense. The changeup is playable and has the correct shape to it.
