6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher and first baseman. Ran a 4.51 down the line on his dig to first base. Worked out at first and behind the dish, solid at both. At first, the glove is solid, feet work well around the bag. Threw 78 mph across the diamond from first to third. Behind the dish, threw 72 mph, pop time of 2.21 as the footwork needs to be cleaned up. Small pause in the throwing from behind the dish The receiving is a work in progress, as securing the catch needs to continue to develop.  The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The setup is wide in base, pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is long and flat, low finish after contact.

Threw 69 mph down to second base in the workout, arm is simple on the back side. The receiving is trending the right way, needs to continue to work on staying soft. Worked out at first base as well, showing good athleticsm around the bag. The glove is solid, threw 77 mph across the diamond from first to third. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. The setup is wide in base, uses a knee to knee approach to the bottom half. The hands work freely, path is flat and he uses a 1-handed finish after contact. The back leg has a small collapse to it at contact.  Solid catching prospect for me, as I think he will clean it up and really throw at some point.
