3/08/17

6-foot-4, 175-pound left-hander out of the Legends Baseball program.  Big time young arm, pitches out of an easy, plus ¾ arm slot. The frame is outstanding and the projection is immense. The lift is athletic, under control and direct to the plate. The front side is controlled and he does a good job tracking to the plate. The feet are in line and he stays through the catcher. The fastball touched 78 mph with a downhill plane to it. The spin pitch needs more fastball hand speed to it, as he slow the ball hand down. The pitch sits at 62 mph. The changeup has good action and sink to it, sits at 71 mph. Big time follow.

2017 FUTURE GAMES
6-foot-5, 180-pound left-handed pitcher who projects to be a big time arm down the road. The arm works extremely well, and the delivery is online with his feet. The glove side is wide at release, getting the glove inside the body frame at release will help extension. The lift is athletic and he is aggressive with his arm. Pitches out of an above 3/4 slot.  The fastball touched 84 mph with minimal downhill plane, staying taller on the backside will help the plane. The spin pitch is a breaking ball, the shape is appropriate and he likes the pitch. The pitch needs to break less, more fastball arm speed added to it and it would be filthy. Currently, sits 68-71 mph. The changeup is a 2-seam changeup, sits 68-71 mph with action to it.   Excellent arm.
