William Parker: SS/RHP, (2022) Hopedale, MA. Army Commit, 6-foot-1, 192-pound athletic mature build. Above average and projectable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 100 mph. (72.2 mph bat speed average). (19.2 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a wrapping load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was above average, used an uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. In his round he found lots of barrels with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 79 mph; had a clean natural exchange, soft sure hands, and developing athletic footwork. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.97. Above average projectable on the mound, showed quick and above average arm speed, he had a short very quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed consistent balance point with in line shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 84-85 mph; has running action and arm side control. (Max spin 2566; Avg 2422). Had glove side control and sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball (69-71). (Max spin 2347; Avg 2325). His changeup (74-75) showed fading action and arm side control.

Defense:  (IF) Soft sure hands, developing athletic footwork, clean natural exchange. Athletic.  Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. 

Arm: 79 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 6.97 (60-yard).

Pitching: Above average projectable. Up-tempo delivery, some effort. High ¾ arm angle, quick and  above average arm speed, short very quick arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, lands closed, an athletic finish.

FB: T85. 84-85 mph. (Max spin 2566;  Avg 2422). Arm side accuracy, running action. 

CB: 69-71 mph. Glove side command, sweeping action, 11/5 shape. (Max spin 2347; Avg 2325).

Bat speed is above average, exhibits an uphill swing plane and high finish. Was able to create tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 85 mph; had a natural exchange, soft hands, and athletic footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. Above average on the mound, using a quick arm action he showed above average arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo type pitcher and shows easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 85-86 mph; has control in the zone and running action with heavy movement. Had swing and miss action and control around the zone on his 11/5 curveball (68-69). His changeup (70-71) had command around the zone and sinking action.

Power: 97 mph exit velocity, average 84.42 mph.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, athletic footwork, natural exchange. Athletic.  Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. 

Arm: 85 mph infield velocity. Quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Pitching: Above average. Up-tempo delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, above average arm speed, quick arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, lands square, an athletic finish.

FB: T86. 85-86 mph. (Max spin 2582;  Avg 2455). In the zone accuracy, running action, heavy movement. 

CB: 68-69 mph. Around the zone control, swing and miss action, 11/5 shape. 

CH: 70-71 mph. Around the zone command, sinking action. 

PROCASE 2021

6-foot, 183-pound right-handed pitcher and infielder. He ran a 7.29 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is athletic and he showed a feel for his glove. The feet can remain active through the fielding process, he threw 85 mph across the diamond at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot gains ground to the baseball as the swing is produced. The path and hands work clean to contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 83-84 mph with arm side action to it. The spin pitch is 69-70 mph, a tad big in shape but can be shortened as he progressed. The changeup is 73-75 mph with fade and sink at times. The delivery is online and the slot is plus 3/4 . The tempo of the delivery is solid and he repeats the process. The arm is quick and the next two years should be interesting for him, as he should throw hard at some point.

INF Velocity- 85 mph

5-foot-11, 173-pound, strong athletic frame, put together well, is bigger than you think, good durable size to him. A right-handed pitcher, simple, controlled delivery, hands staying at the mid-section. The lift is athletic, coil to it, strong front arm, is squared up on release. The arm action is super clean, works with easy effort, working from a 3/4 to higher 3/4 slot. The fastball was located to both sides of the plate, clocked at 87 mph, sat at 84-85 mph. Threw two plus secondary pitches, curveball, has proper shape and spin, clocked at 70 mph. The changeup has arm side fade and action to it, clocked at 76-77 mph, comes out of his hand looking like a fastball. Big time follow, a strike throwing machine, with a ton more in there.

5-foot-11, 164-pound, average athletic frame, sloped shoulders, showing wiry strength, having room for added weight. A middle infielder, can defend at a very high level, a slick fielder. The hands are super soft out front, feet move throughout, prep-steps are advanced, gets around the baseball, moving towards target. The arm is clean, whippy with serious strength, clocked at 85 mph, plenty arm and carry to stay on the left-side of the infield. The double play starts and turns are performed correct, are advanced, can handle the pivot on both sides of the bag. Offensively, is short to the baseball, hands are inside, looks to stay in the middle of the field. Can handle the bat and maneuver the barrel to the baseball, barrel stays in the zone a long time. The exit velocity was in the mid 80's with more in there as he adds strength and mass. An average runner, ran a 7.31, is athletic enough to be a 7.0 runner at some point. Good follow, high defender.
