Physical catcher who improved immensely since the last time I saw him workout. Did a really nice job in the game with the glove and blocking. Pop time of 1.94 as the can do it back there, and he threw 78 mph. Ran a 4.49 down the line so he moves ok for a big kid. The bat has life to it, tee exit velocity of 90 mph as he is spread out and use his hand strength. The barrel has good life to it, he needs to flatten the path a little to aid plate coverage but I like his chances to hit. Good looking catching prospect for me.

Physical right-handed catcher who displays good skills at the event. Threw 76 mph from behind the dish with carry. The pop time was 2.1 and has room to improve. The transfer needs to clean up as he winds up to throw. The footwork need proper reps and he will clean right up. The arm has plenty to it, should be able to really throw. At the plate, tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The setup is with a wide base. He hits off his front foot, so the head moves forward as the ball approaches. The swing is long and strong, needs to more direct to the ball to tap into his full potential. Has lift in the swing so he may hit home runs.
