Solid athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Square athletic stance at the plate, hands start high, direct stride forward, and lands on line. Hands make small load in a slight bat wrap, short to the ball, and had a level path to contact. Showed some hand and bat speed getting through. Pull side tendency to the swing. In the infield feet were active on approach, glove presents out front, and showed average hands to catch. Clean exchange, quick short arm action, and throws from a low three-quarter arm slot across the infield. Windup delivery starts with a small side step rocker, repeatable leg lift, gets into backside, and shoulders and hips uphill moving down the mound. Lands on line at stride and finishes over a firm front side toward the plate. Full arm action from a three-quarter arm slot. Fastball sat 80-82 with some arm side run and worked well to the arm side. Breaking ball flashed 11/5 shape at 67-68 mph and tended to back up out of the hand.

2019 Diamondskills All-American Camp

6-foot-1, 170-pound long frame with some room to grow. Delivery is smooth with a slower controlled pace. Reaches a consistent balance point before landing slightly closed. Has a longer arm action with quick arm speed and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot. Falls off slightly to first base side. Fastball was 77-79 and had some late life getting through the zone. Breaking ball has a slider look with a tight 10/4 shape. Had a feel for the changeup with a tendency to slow down the delivery and arm. At the plate showed an upright stance, toe tap to stride, landing closed. Hands got through the zone quick with an uphill path to the bat. Exit velo was 74 mph. Played tall defensively, hands were loose and free, with a clean exchange. Showed the ability to get it out quick when moving laterally, throwing from a low three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 78 mph. Posted a 7.40 60 time.
