Maryland Preseason All-State Session I
Body: 5’10’’, 170 pounds. Strong, athletic frame.
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance at the plate. Smooth in to out, elongated stride with solid hand separation with rhythm. Quick bat speed through contact with whippy type barrel action through the zone. Stays behind the ball really well with excellent balance throughout. Creates really nice extension through contact with strong lower half involvement. Consistent line drive tendencies to the gaps and alleys with strength to the pull side. Strong one-handed finish.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Present pop to the pull side with more projected as the body continues to fill out.
Arm: RH. OF - 84 mph. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Attacks the ball with quick, active feet. Fields the ball out in front to the glove hand side with quick, clean exchanges and really nice momentum towards the target. Throws showed carry and accuracy.
Run: 7.43 60-yard time.
