2019 Diamondskills All-American Camp 1/19/2019

5-foot-9, 150-pound solid frame. On the mound setup is relaxed and athletic with high balance point with repeatable mechanics. Lands in line after a more up-down-out move home. Showed arm speed on a short quick arm action with a low three-quarter arm slot. Has ability to throw three pitches for strikes, two of which are legitimate offspeed pitches. Fastball sat between 75-77 mph and got up to 80 mph a few times with late arm side run. Curveball and changeup both showed consistent arm speed and slot. The curveball was tight with 1/7 shape and sat between 68-69 mph. Changeup was firm at 71-73 mph and showed late life. At the plate showed an open athletic stance with hands relaxed and set low. Gets hands up on load, strides in to a closed stance which stops lower half from finishing completely. Hands are quick through the zone and there is some whip in the bat as it gets through. Showed ability to work line drives with a flat bat path through contact. Exit velocity was 82 mph. In the outfield had an active yet controlled approach to the catch then utilizing a pro-hop to release. The pace picked up on exchange and showed a quick arm from a high three-quarter arm slot with some arm speed. Positional velocity was 82 mph. Ran the 60 in 7.63.
