Pitched two innings in relief against Eastern Tech. Struck out the side in the sixth after allowing a leadoff base hit. Struggled to find his command a bit in the second inning of work walking two and surrendering two hits on pitches that missed spots. Altogether struck out five, none bigger than the final one to end the game and get himself out of the jam. Clean arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot. Fastball 78-80 mph and breaking ball was 65-67 mph with big 11/5 shape. 

11.5.16 - Solid frame with room to grow at 5-foot-10, 184-pounds. Ran a 8.15 60-yard dash with a 1.94 10-yard split. Hits from a square setup. Short load with shorter swing path. Stays inside ball well and some extension through contact. Nice rhythm throughout. Middle type approach during BP. Exit velocity of 85 mph. Sound footwork in infield. Clean exchange throwing from a high three quarter slot. Infield velocity of 74 mph...Solid frame with room to grow at 5-foot-10, 184-pounds. Short, compact delivery. Longer, quick arm action throwing from a high threequarter slot. Glides down mound with nice balance throughout. FB topped out at 78 mph with slight run to the pitch and occasional sink. Breaking ball ranged from 69-70 mph with tight rotation and later action. Potential to be a power pitch. Change ranged from 70-71. Good sink action on the pitch with near fastball arm speed.

6.4.16 - 2019 RHP Colby Buckheit is an interesting young pitcher to follow.  Sat at 78-80 on the mound with quick, whippy arm speed and sound arm action. Throws from an almost over-the-top arm angle and fastball has run and sink on the pitch. Interesting young player to keep an eye on
