5.24.16 - Davonn Griffin has an athletic frame with raw ability. A JMU recruit, has confident and impressive first step quickness. Shows bat speed, level path, gets barrel on the ball. Throws have carry on them. Plays short for his high school team but projects more as an outfielder in his future.

7.20.15 - DaVonn Griffin had a nice game and is an interesting outfield prospect.  Covers ground well and has the mindset of a top of the order hitter. Throws had carry on them.  Had a short swing with some bat speed.
