7.12.16 - Carr has made huge strides in the past year, taking advantage of growing into his athletic frame. The lefty hitter set a team and county record for hit in a season surpassing Saint James teammate Ryan Brown (Charleston Southern) this spring as well as lowering his 60 time (6.83). Has a level swing path with quick bat speed to go along with sound actions in the field.

6.21.16 - Frame with room to grow. An under the radar player that is going to get better. Hits from an athletic set up at the plate Simple load with quick hands and level swing path. Generates fast bat speed at the plate with exit velo of 90 mph. Nice rhythm throughout. Active feet in the infield with clean actions and hands. Has a short arm action throwing from a ¾ arm angle across the diamond at 85 mph. 

11.1.15 - Lean body with room to fill out at 5-foot-9, 150-pounds. Hits from a balanced set up. Smooth load with quick leg kick. Quick hands with slightly uphill bat path. Nice lower half. Good balance throughout swing. Exit velocity of 83 mph. Soft hands with clean exchange throwing from a high ¾ arm slot. Infield velocity of 82 mph. Funnels ball with active feet and plays thru the ball well.

10.25.15 - Small frame with room to fill out at 5-foot-9, 150-pounds. Runs a 7.20 60-yard dash. Hits from a balanced set up. Smooth load with short leg kick. Short bat path with quick bat speed. Gap-to-gap type hitter. Good balance throughout swing and gets some lower half involvement. Exit velocity of 80 mph. Active feet at shortstop. Sound footwork with clean exchange.  Funnel style fielder. Has short arm action throwing from a three-quarter arm angle. Position velocity of 80 mph.

6.24.15 - Lanky body at 5-foot-9 145 pounds.  Has a short arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm slot.  Makes accurate throws with some carry at 75 mph across the infield.  Fluid footwork that will get better with more consistency.  Clean exchange.  Hits from a balanced set up with quick hands and a short bat path. More pull type hitter now with potential to be gap-to-gap hitter.  Ran a 7.30 60 yard dash and had an exit velocity of 80 mph. Interesting prospect that should fill out and clean up as he gets stronger.  One to follow.
