Preseason All-State Session I

Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 5’9”, 160 pounds. Athletic
Hit: RHH. Hits from a tall, balanced, square stance at the plate. Short back load and small stride. Short to the ball with a more level swing path. Showed quick, loose hands and quick bat speed through the zone. Stays behind the ball well with strong lower half involvement and gets great extension through contact. Keeps head down on the ball and finishes swing hard with two hands. Really nice middle of the field, gap-to-gap line drive approach. 
Power: 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. Gap-to-gap pop with more projected. 
Arm: RH. C - 73 mph. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot. 
Defense: 2.00 - 2.09 pop times. Quick footwork and explodes out of the crouched position. Quick, clean exchanges and accurate throws to the bag. 
Run: 4.71 home-to-first time.

5-foot-9, 160-pound athletic frame. Quick jab step to get feet in line for the throw. High exchange, quick glove to hand transition, and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot and short arm action. Throws were consistently in line with a top velocity of 76 mph. Pops ranged from 2.03-2.17. Ran a 7.19 60, displaying some athleticism. Exit velocity was 82 mph.

Athletic body type and 5’9’’, 150 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, square stance at the plate. Short back load with some hand separation and a toe-tap used for timing. Short to the ball with a slightly uphill swing path and quick bat speed. Attacks the ball with intent and generates strong lower half involvement. Gets good extension past contact and finishes with two hands. Gap-to-gap line drive type hitter with some power to the alleys. Recorded an 82 mph exit velocity. Showed quick footwork and quick, clean exchanges behind the dish on throws to second. Squares shoulders to target and throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 74 mph. Pop times ranged 1.90 - 2.08. Ran a 7.38 60-yard time.
