6.30.15 - Put together with room for more at 6-foot-2 200-pounds.  Hits from a balanced set up with a high leg kick. Short bat path with fast bat speed. Has good balance in swing. Line drive type hitter with power and 90 mph exit velocity. Strong.  From the outfield has a short arm action from a high ¾ arm angle.  Throws from the outfield were at 71 mph. throws were accurate and consistent.  Projects better as first basemen in college. As he increases his footwork and agility, very interesting prospect with some power potential.

4.11.15 - +Matt Smith belted two homeruns for Parkside showing good pop in the bat and good bat speed.  Looks to be a nice prospect in the 2016 class.

1.21.15 - 6-foot-2 190-pound physical and athletic frame that swings from the left side. Showed a level path and a quick bat with pop at the plate. Stayed inside the ball well and used the middle of the field with good extension.
