MD Preseason All State
Strong compact frame at 5-foot-9, 175-pounds. Athletic stance with hands relaxed at setup. Hands load back with rhythm and a small pickup and put down landing square. Swing has uphill path with a high finish, lower half finishes, and has some balance in the swing. Exit velocity was 84 mph. Works through the ball under control, clean exchange post-catch, and a longer arm action. Average arm speed and throws from a three-quarter arm slot at 77 mph. Home-1st time was 4.47.
MD Top Prospect Games
Strong, solid, athletic body type. 5-foot-9 165 pound frame. Hits from an athletic, balanced, slightly open stance. Short, smooth back load with leg kick. Showed some lower half involvement and bat speed. Uphill swing path and works body uphill as well at contact finishing high. Gets good separation and had an exit velo of 83 mph. Gap-to-gap type hitter with some pop. Attacks and plays through the ball in the outfield. Fluid footwork and quick, clean exchange into crow hop. Throws with shorter arm actions from a high three-quarters arm slot at 78 mph. Ran a 4.17 home-to-first.
Compact, solid frame at 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Smooth delivery with good pace. Sound arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm slot. Get some lower half involvement, could get backside with it. Could get some hip load while working downhill. Lands square to the plate, slight finish to first base at times. Shows some arm speed potential. FB up to 72 mph with nice late cut action and sat 69-71. Breaking ball ranged from 56-58 mph with bigger 11/5 action on the pitcher and near fastball arm speed..........Ran a 4.17 home to first. Hits from a square setup. Short load with double tap and arm bar. Level swing path with some bat speed through zone. Some lower half involvement, could get some more explosion in transfer with less drift, which shows more power could be present. Exit velocity of 82 mph. Sound actions in the outfield. Shorter arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot. Works thru ball well. Outfield velocity of 71 mph.
