9.11.16 - Young still growing frame at 5-foot-8, 140-pounds. Hits from an open set up with short load to hitting position. Short, level swing path with some extension through contact. Showed nice lower half and balance throughout. Active feet at the corner. Clean hands and exchange, with a loose arm action throwing from a ¾ slot. Throws were accurate and worked through ball well…Controlled, build up style delivery. Gets nice lower half usage with some hip load. Lands square and quiet to the plate. Loose arm action throwing from a high ¾ slot. Fastball has slight run on the pitch at 73 mph. Breaking ball has 12/6 action on it with nice rotation at 65. Change up showed dive to the pitch with fastball arm speed.
