2.21.16 - Strong athletic frame at 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. Controlled delivery. Has a free arm action with fast arm speed. Shows some lower half usage and looks like could get a bit more from backside. Lands square to the plate in athletic position. Works downhill well. Fastball has slight sink to the pitch at 85 mph. Breaking ball is a slider is 2/8 movement and short break at 70 mph. Shows near fastball arm speed on the pitch. Changeup has hard sink and dive to the pitch with fastball arm speed at 76 mph. Change up is a good pitch. Another projectable lefty to keep an eye on in the 2017 class.

7.7.15 - Long frame at 6-foot, 180 pounds.  Hits from an athletic set up.  Short stride with a quick load.  Short path to the ball with quick bat speed.  Nice balance in swing and show some rhythm in set up.  Barrel gets in and out of the zone. Exit velocity of 87 mph. Throws from a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action.  Throws had some carry on them at 83 mph.  Stays on backside in throw and could work through more.  Clean exchange and sound mechanics from the outfield. Arm works well from the outfield and sound footwork. Ran a 7.62 60 yard dash. Throws from an almost over-the-top arm angle.  Sound arm action with some arm speed. Will get more velo once gets more lower half in finish. Controlled deliver with some rhythm.  Fastball has late run on the pitch up to 85 mph. Breaking ball has 1/7 action with gradual movement at 62 mph.  Change up had good late fade and sink on the pitch at 69 mph.  Good command of the pitch and nice action on the pitch. Unfinished product will be interesting to see how he develops as he gets more lower half involvement in delivery.
