Emmett Carroll: RHP/1B, (2026) Massabesic, ME. 6-foot-3, 220-pound projectable frame. Projectable at the plate, Carroll had an exit velocity of 93 mph. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (21.0 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a wrapping load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is developing, has an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Capable while in the infield, made throws up to 71 mph; has a natural exchange, developing hands, and developing feet. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 8.8.  (Max spin 2031; Avg 1909). 

Emmett Carroll: RHP/1B, (2026) Massabesic, ME. 6-foot-2, 230-pound. Projectable and capable during batting practice, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 87 mph. (72.3 mph bat speed average). (22.7 mph hand speed average). Sets up in a balanced athletic stance and has a small stride. Has a flat loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 64 mph; had a developing exchange, developing consistent footwork, and developing hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Showed a high ¾ slot and consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 8.6. Capable on the mound, has a high ¾ arm angle and consistent arm speed. Feel type pitcher and  showed  effort. Displays in line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Knuckle (63-64 mph). Threw his fastball 71-72 mph; had arm side command and running action. (Max spin 1845; Avg 1795). His curveball (62-63) shows glove side control and sweeping action. (Max spin 1852; Avg 1852). 

Carroll is a physical, 6-foot-2, 235 pound corner infield prospect. The left-handed hitting Carroll has juice in his bat. He hits out of a balanced stance with the hands high. The bat path is short, quick and direct. He showed the ability to drive the ball gap to gap and should only continue to develop juice. Defensively, he moves well around the bag at first. The feet are light, the hands are soft and the arm is quick. On the mound, the arm works out of a high ¾ slot. The delivery has good tempo and direction. He separates well at the top and gets down the mound well. The fastball has some arm side run and he shows the feel for his secondary stuff.
