8.8.2017
6-foot-3, 190-pound left-handed hitting corner infielder. Second time seeing this young man and with additional strength and reps, he should flourish. Ran a 4.73 down the line on his dig to first base. Threw 72 mph across the infield with accuracy, the prep steps need to continue to improve as he matures. The frame is excellent and should fill out nicely. The glove is solid and the movements are athletic. Tee exit velocity of 83 mph from the left side. The set up is wide with his feet, high back elbow. The swing is simple, uses the hands well. The bottom half has a small pick up and put down as the ball approaches. Very interesting prospect for me, big and left-handed with good athleticsm. The more he plays the better he will become.
Tee Exit Velocity- 83 mph
INF Velocity- 73 mph
6-foot-3, 185-pound left-handed hitting third baseman. Ran a 4.61 as he moves well on the baseball field. The glove is solid at third and shows the ability to move off the ball appropriately. Threw 73 mph across the diamond as a throwing program will help this young man tap into his arm strength. The arm works, just needs to be strengthened. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 82 mph, as his frame can use additional strength to it. Starts his swing with his feet wide and a high back elbow. The path is long to the ball but the hands work freely and clean. This guy could be a monster with a weight room routine and a couple swing adjustments. Good follow if you like big and left-handed like I do.
