2.22.2015 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect. Good setup and flexibilyt behind the plate, quick twitch actions allow him to get rid of the ball quickly. Showed quite movement in receiving skills. Pop time of 1.90-2.07. Clean actions with his glove and an accurate arm from the outfield. Threw 83 mph from the outfield. Ran a 6.66 60-yard dash. Balanced stance, quick hands with good plate discipline in a pull approach. Bat speed registered at 89 mph.

1.4.13 5-foot-10, 175-pound prospect with athletic frame. Ran an impressive 6.61 60. Projects best as a catcher at this stage. Shows compact actions. Hands and transfer are quick. Pop times between 1.93 to 2.04 with 78 mph arm strength from the crouch. Needs to continue improving footwork and direction to help accuracy. From the outfield, he reached a top velocity of 82 mph. Aggressive to the ball. Will be aided by improved transfer.  In the future, his athleticism may play best in the outfield. In the infield, he shows short arm action. Reached a top velocity of 80 mph. Footwork tends to get a bit wide and flat. Needs to develop angles and play through the ball to utilize his athleticism. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts in athletic stance. Creates momentum towards the pitcher in his load. Takes level path to the ball. Creates some power with his strength and athleticism. Overall, a bit raw, but plenty to work with for the future.

10.20.13 Dixon is supremely gifted athletically. He has a good build that is on the wiry side of the scale. Overall, Dixon is a productive player. This player reminds us of a young Hunter Pence; not the prettiest but it certainly productive. He is 82mph from the outfield. Showed an above-average arm behind the plate with pop times at 1.91. At the plate he showed some looseness in the swing and a fast bat.

3.2.13 Dixon is a solid, versatile athlete. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Dixon is best summed up in one word: productive.  Dixon surprised with a showcase best 87 MPH exit velocity.  He already has some strength to him.  Has natural instincts.  Throws from behind the plate had good carry but were a bit inaccurate.  At the plate he has solid bat speed.  He will be able to show more power when he incorporates more of his lower half. Two intangibles that Dixon has are his heart and that he hustles. Dixon stood out at this event based on the way he hustled.
