Crouterfield has a lanky 5-foot-11, 150-pound frame. Has a tall, narrow stance that is slightly open. Rests the bat on his shoulder before creating separation and throwing his hands at the ball. Had an exit velocity of 79 mph and ran a 4.92 home-to-1st. Works a controlled tempo and good angles to the ball with soft hands. Had a velocity of 66 mph across the diamond. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot and hides the ball well as he falls off towards first base. Fastball sat 72-77 mph with sinking action. Curveball had 11/5, rolling break at 60-61 mph. Changeup showed occasional sink at 65-68 mph.
