The 6-foot-2, 210-pound 2020 pitching prospect with a big, strong frame. Uses a slower paced delivery that requires some effort. Does a nice job of taking the energy created with the leg lift down the hill into the pitch. Creates some deception with a big glove side action. Ball comes out of the hand well using a short, quick arm action. The near OT slot makes it appear as if the ball is almost taken from the ear. Fastball does not feature a lot of movement, but does show some at 79-81 mph. Curveball was somewhat inconsistent, but when spun well has some 11/5 sharp break at 69-70 mph. A third baseman with the frame for the spot. Plays with fluid feet and soft hands. Can get around the ball at times when he gets to heels. Showed adequate ball skills, making all the plays in his defensive eval. At the plate he swings it from the right side showing a compact stroke. Level path with strength to hands at contact. All fields hitter with gap abilities. Solid round of BP.
