Whitcomb has a 5-foot-10, 170-pound build. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long, loose arm action. His fastball sat 76-78 mph with running action. His curveball had late, sharp 1/7 action as it sat 62-66 mph with good depth. He threw his changeup with near fastball arm speed and it had fading action at 65-66 mph and he also threw a knuckleball at 54-57 mph as he lowered his arm slot and it had good whiffling action. He threw four pitches for strikes and showed a good tempo on the mound. He stays balanced and locates his fastball to both sides of the plate.

5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect. Quick worker with a high 3/4 arm slot. Hides the baseball well. Occasionally drops arm slot to create deception. Fastball sat 76-80 mph with very good control. Breaking ball had sharp, late, slider-type action and could be thrown to both side of the plate. Knuckleball was 63-65 mph with good control and movement when located down.

5-foot-8, 150-pound left handed prospect. Quick low ¾ arm slot, hides the baseball well creating deception for the hitter from the left side of the mound. Fastball had good movement at 73-75 mph. Sweeping curveball at 62-63 mph. Changeup with fading action at 64-67 mph. Knuckle with plus control and good movement at 59-62 mph.
