Jake Lassner: RHP/2B, (2022) Royal Oak, MI. 6-foot, 155-pound lean frame. Capable in the box, Lassner clocked an exit velocity of 75 mph. Begins in an open stance with a slow load, then uses a toe tap. Had a flat swing plane, average bat speed and high finish. In his round he found some barrels with some loud contact. Up the middle approach. Above average while in the infield, made throws up to 78 mph; showed firm hands, a lengthy exchange, and choppy feet. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Used an-over-the-top slot and a long arm action while showing decent accuracy to the base. Capable on the mound, showed some arm speed with a quick arm action and an over-the-top arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Curveball (62-65 mph).Threw his fastball 68-70 mph and topped out at 74 mph; had lack of action and control up in the zone with straight movement. Shows running action and consistent control on his tight changeup . Threw a tight slider with tailing action and low in the zone command.
