Jake Smith: SS/RHP, (2026) DeWitt, MI. 5-foot-10, 140-pound. (52.2 mph bat speed average). (18.1 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall active stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Raw while in the infield, made throws up to 67 mph; has a lengthy exchange, developing in control feet, and developing hard hands. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Smooth on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action while showing developing arm speed. Tilt-and-topple type pitcher who uses decent effort. Showed low balance point and even in line shoulders. Lands closed with upright finish.  (Max spin 1690; Avg 1655).
