8/9/13 Ashcraft continues to make his jump.  Arm has always worked well.  It was a matter of time before the velocity started to come. Sat 82-85mph at Unsigned Senior Games.  Worked fast. Good tempo. Kept hitters off balance.  Threw breaking ball for a strike consistently. Pulled change from time to time.  Definite riser in the class.

7/23/13 Aschcraft gets the most out of his body.  Smaller compact righty but arm works well.  Fastball has climbed significantly over the past year.  Pumped strikes between 81-83mph. Mainly 82-83mph.  Breaking ball was tighter at 70mph.  Late bloomer with more in the tank.  Should attract a ton of attention from smaller schools.
