Nicholas Hoorn: SS/RHP, (2025) Howell, MI. 6-foot, 165-pound. (65.9 mph bat speed average). (21.9 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a short quick stride. He barreled up multiple balls with a lot of loud contact. Solid projectable while in the infield, made throws up to 77 mph; showed soft consistent hands, a lengthy clean exchange, and smooth in control feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were quick. Athletic capable on the mound, showing good arm speed he used a ¾ high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action. Tilt-and-topple drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Has a tall balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square and closed with recoil upright finish. (Max spin 2237; Avg 2116).
