Sam Carlisle: 3B/RHP, (2022) Portage Northern, MI. 5-foot-11, 180-pound. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 90 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was above average, displayed an an inside-out swing plane and level finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Opposite field approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 78 mph; shows soft sure hands, a fluid lengthy exchange, and developing rhythmic feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. Decent accuracy to the bases, used a loose arm action with a ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.66 at the event.
