Starts in a tall stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short quick stride. Bat speed is above average, uses a flat swing plane and level finish. Barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 75 mph; showed consistent in control feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball out front. Athletic projectable on the mound, had a ¾ arm angle and a long arm action with good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows high effort. Balance is tall point with an even shoulders in his delivery. Lands closed with an athletic finish. (Max spin 1991; Avg 1880).
