Trent Rice: OF/RHP, (2023) Cardinal Mooney, MI. 5-foot-11, 155-pound. Athletic during batting practice, Rice had a max exit velocity of 90 mph. (69.07 mph bat speed average). (20.13 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled compact load, then uses a leg kick. Had efficient bat speed. He created some loud contact during the round. Line drive approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 77 mph. Athletic In the outfield, has sure hands, consistent feet, and a clean fluid exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.64. (Max spin ; Avg ).

Defense: (OF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, clean fluid exchange. Athletic. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic.

Pitching: On the mound with a wide set up takes a step left moving towards his balance point throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Showed a three pitch mix on the bump with arm side run on the fastball. Aggressive pitcher that goes right at the hitter.
Fielding: Quick twitch outfielder that works quickly towards the ball throwing with some effort. Has foot speed which was displayed by his sixty time. Can stay in CF.
