Hitting: At the plate has an open stance with lower hands, turns inwards swinging to make hard contact. Works the pull side at the plate. During game play smoked an inside the park homerun to CF. Kept his hands inside and drove the ball.
Pitching: on the mound repeats his motion getting to a waist high balance point throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Throws over the top with strikes. Ball was easy out his hand sitting 67-70 mph . Curve has an 11/5 shape on the 57-58 mph that he kept hitters off balance with. Was not afraid to throw the pitch in all counts.
3/3/19 Hitting: Sets up with balanced feet and his upper body leaned back and swings with an easy cut. Makes contact out front.
Mechanics: Clean mechanics, young pitcher that repeats his motion. Throws with an easy arm action.
Fastball: Ball comes easy out the arm sitting 66-70 mph with good late tail.
Change up: Slows arm slightly on the change up with a late drop 52-55 mph.
