Solid footwork and attacks the baseball in the OF. Tall frame with good arm action. High arm slot. FB works well down in the zone and has a sharb CB. Open stance with a toe tap. Works his hands through the ball and makes solid contact.

Josh Crater: OF/RHP, (2026) Grandville High School, MI. 5-foot-11, 165-pound. (65.6 mph bat speed average). (19.5 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a controlled stride. He barreled up some balls. Projectable in the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 84 mph; had a lengthy developing exchange, developing hands, and in control footwork. Projectable on the mound, used a moderate arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort.  (Max spin 2043; Avg 1947).

Josh Crater: RHP/OF, (2026) Grandville, MI. 5-foot-11, 150-pound. (64.8 mph bat speed average). (18.6 mph hand speed average). Setup consists of a balanced wide stance and a toe tap short stride. Had an uphill swing plane and a a back foot finish. Pull side approach. While catching, he produced a position velocity of 74 mph during throw downs. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 77 mph; has developing hands, in control average feet, and a clean natural exchange. One hand fielding mechanics. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 74 mph; he had a pop time of 2.01-2.04. Smooth solid on the mound, showed good arm speed with an over-the-top high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses some effort. He has even shoulders and an athletic consistent balance point. Lands square with a clean balanced finish. (Max spin 1985; Avg 1847).
