Mason Kanar: OF/RHP, (2025) BISHOP FOLEY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, MI. 5-foot-8, 190-pound. (66.7 mph bat speed average). (17.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then used a short stride. Has an upward swing plane, flashed bat speed and high finish. Created loud contact and found a few barrels. Pull side approach. In the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 85 mph. Athletic confident on the mound, showed good arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a long consistent arm action. Drop-and-drive stretch only type pitcher and uses easy effort. Has an athletic strong balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Throws a straight fastball with tilt slight running action and both sides of the plate command. (Max spin 2224; Avg 2120). Had glove side control and late action on his 2/8 slider. (Max spin 2402; Avg 2382).
