Fastball was delivered on tilted plane, solid arm quickness, at 77-79 mph. Inconsistent shape and spin on 1/7 breaking ball. Split has late drop and is effective in bottom half of zone.
8/20/17- 6-foot-3, 170-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.06 runner. Crouched stance, heavier body load, lift in swing plane, flashed hard pull side contact, flare’s oppo, 85 mph exit velocity. Sure hands in field with active feet, comfortable around bag, avg. accuracy on throws, 74 mph arm across infield. On mound; controlled tempo, lands inline with catcher, upright on release. Slingy action on fastball, elevated, with varying action at 77-80 mph. Lands breaking ball well; solid 1/7 shape and spin with depth. Changeup is thrown with good arm speed. Shows avg. action and feel for split.
10/23/16- 6-foot-2, 155-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. On mound; loose actions, early break down mound, has direction to plate, falls down mound in delivery, clean ¾ arm action. Fastball was 75-76 mph with varying action to plate. 1/7 breaking has avg. shape and spin with ability to land in zone for strikes. Above avg. action on split with late heavy action. Works bottom of zone well with fading changeup. 7.28 runner. Crouched stance, short square stride, lower hand slot, uphill swing plane with lift, clean path, avg. bat speed, 77 mph exit velocity. Decent athlete, plays through ball, long arm action, avg. accuracy to target, 76 mph OF arm. Tall fielding position, avg. hands, makes routine plays, accurate to bag, 73 mph IF arm.
