8/19/18-  6-foot-3, 215-pound right-handed hitting two-way player.  6.87 runner.  Open upright stance with high hand set.  Leg lift and body load back. Physical presence in box.  Gap to gap approach with hard contact.  Line drive swing plane with short finish. Strength in barrel.  IF- Athletic feet and ok glove.  Moves well around bag.  82 mph arm strength with good carry and ok accuracy.  On mound- Big projectable frame.  Overall athleticism.  Simple controlled delivery.  Good tempo.  Good direction down mound with long clean arm action.  Fastball is 88-91 mph with some sink late.  Curveball is 12/6 break with loose spin and ok shape at 72-74 mph.  Slider is cutter-like thrown at 76-77 mph.  Change-up has solid fade at 76-79 mph.  Follow in 2019 class.

6/19/18- 6-foot-3, 212-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Physical athletic frame. On mound; rocker step, solid tempo, controlled balance point, long clean arm action, has extension and finish to plate. Hides ball from hitter well. Fastball was 85-89 mph, mostly straight, with occasional slight running action. Tight spin with sharp break on 11/5 curveball. 6.71 runner. Tall stance, leg kick trigger, rhythm in hands, short to contact, line drive plane, consistent hard contact, gap to gap approach, 93 mph exit velocity. Solid actions at first, athletic enough to consider moving to outfield, comfortable around bag, 78 mph arm strength across infield.

7/10/20: If you’re looking for an arm to project a big velo jump, Kubiatowicz is your guy. With a strong, athletic body type at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds and an easy, on-line delivery he sat 85-86 on this recent look. However, he has shown up to 92 in the past, and more is likely to come in the near future. His best pitch in a 1-2-3 seventh inning was an average 76-77 mph curveball with very good shape and depth. Although his present velocity is well short to draw professional attention, Kubiatowicz is one to watch for 2022.
