6/19/18- 6-foot-3, 212-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Physical athletic frame. On mound; rocker step, solid tempo, controlled balance point, long clean arm action, has extension and finish to plate. Hides ball from hitter well. Fastball was 85-89 mph, mostly straight, with occasional slight running action. Tight spin with sharp break on 11/5 curveball. 6.71 runner. Tall stance, leg kick trigger, rhythm in hands, short to contact, line drive plane, consistent hard contact, gap to gap approach, 93 mph exit velocity. 7/10/20:If you’re looking for an arm to project a big velo jump, Kubiatowicz is your guy. With a strong, athletic body type at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds and an easy, on-line delivery he sat 85-86 on this recent look. However, he has shown up to 92 in the past, and more is likely to come in the near future. His best pitch in a 1-2-3 seventh inning was an average 76-77 mph curveball with very good shape and depth. Although his present velocity is well short to draw professional attention, Kubiatowicz is one to watch for 2022.
