10/1/17 - Kopff is a 5-foot-11 180-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.71 laser timed 60 and has an 82 mph exit velo. At the plate, thin and slightly open stance, minimal hand movement in load, in line stride, hand work inside the ball, high number of opposite field line drives, gap to gap approach.  In the outfield, 77 mph positional velo, fluid action with transfer on time with feet, clean exchange, momentum after the catch, mostly accurate throws, easy high three quarters arm action. On the mound, Kopff comes from a high three quarters arm slot, smooth and controlled tempo, high percentage of strikes with three pitches, repeats a simple delivery, hides ball well, fastball at 75-77 mph, occasional late running action, curveball has 2-to-8 shape, 63-66 mph, throws fastball with near fastball arm speed, 70-72 mph, slight fading action.

2/20/17 - Kopff is a 6-foot 190-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 4.52 home to first and has an exit velocity of 82 mph. At the plate, slightly open stance, short stride, minimal load, hands manage the bat, line drives to both gaps during hitting evaluations.  In the outfield, 80 mph positional velo, plays through he ball, clean transfer, high three quarters release.
