6/16/15 - Link is a 6-foot-1 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in the 2017 class.  Link runs a 7.00 60 and has an 83 mph exit velo.  At the plate, Link starts with an open stance and uses a leg kick, walking away from hands during load. he has a level bat path with quick bat speed, advanced gap-to-gap approach.  In the outfield, high three quarters release, mostly accurate throws, fluid footwork, throws downhill, plays through the ball. 82 mph positional velo. From the mound, he works fastball at 78-80 mph, top velo at 82 mph.  Fastball has movement with late cutting action, throws for a strike consistently.  Curveball has 11-to-5 shape, tight spin, late action, slider at 71 mph. Change-up has slight arm side sink at 72-74 mph.  Link has a simple delivery, easy to repeat, with high three-quarters release.  Lean frame and loose arm action would suggest velo increase in future.
